Hey everyone, I've been wanting to tint my windows but I am uncertain about how dark I want to go. Would you mind posting pics of your tinted windows and what percentage of visible light can pass through. That's the only way I've seen it measured. I would also welcome suggestions of brands or type of film that perform better. I don't want it to fade or bubble, obviously.

Also I/m in Utah so our tint laws are very flexible.
here in Mass the tinting is more strict. We have a 35% max on the books, with no tinting allowed on the windshield more than 6 inches from the top. That said, if I had a way to find windows that had "Factory Tint" I could go as low as I wanted on the back 3 windows, but still max 35% on the front driver and passenger.
Any idea if the JDM glass will fit an '09 xB? and if it will fit, how dark is the JDM factory tint?
my xb came with tinted windows..i beleive it's 20% I just had them tint the 2 front windows and put any eyebrow on the front windshield and it's 20% matches perfectly. and is gauranteed by the place who did it for as long as I own my xB. had my past car tinted for 3yrs....no problems
In Indiana you can go as low as 20% and have the eyebrow on the front at the top and very bottom of the windshield. you can go lower at some places they either don't give you a receipt or they don't put what the percentage is. My bro has 5% all the way around on his 98 civic.
Also some places will double layer. do 20% or 35%twice...that would be hella dark
