| what do you think of the mirrors?
some people have been removing the flat black sticker on the pillars to make the mirrors match, i decided to do something a little differnt that i havent seen yet. i ordered new shells and sprayed them flat balck to match.
so lets hear it.......... |

Looks pretty good.
I removed my vinyl to make it look more like a delivery truck/van, not for the mirrors.
If leaving the vinyl on, those mirrors would be a great idea! | |

I was thinking of doing something similar.
I was going to buy mirrors for a black XB and replace my white ones with the black ones.

thanks guys.
the stock black xb shells are a black onxy pearl, so they wouldn't look all that great. i think i paid around 70 for the new shells and then just sprayed them the matte color to match the pillars/tape. | |

you might be able to find them at a junk yard on a totaled xb or just go to your dealer, they are held on my plastic tabs so just pull and they come right off. | |

I was thinking about doing that, or removing the A pillar tape and doing matte black on the whole roof. Have not decided yet. Looks really good. BTW I think your car would look great with the front bumper piece painted matte black. It would tie in really well. | |
