I'll post up pictures like I said once its out. I wasnt at the shop when they were putting it on, so i have no idea if they used the templates or not.

the bumpers are still waiting to be done. I would say at least one full kitted car should be done by SEMA.

Jason I tell Steve that just about every time I see a profile shot of any of the cars. I would think the fact his dealership is installing the spoilers and I think skirts on cars for sale on the dealer floor can only help move the rear bumper development forward.

Let me start with saying that I love what you are doing with this kit design and with the quality construction you apparantly have chosen to go with. I hope you guys sell the hell out of these so you can make some money for all of your efforts.

From the photos, the side skirts don't look that wide...especially when shown with the stock wheels/tires, but it's hard to tell from photos of course. I'm wondering how the skirts & bumpers (when ready) will look with the 225/45 ZR17's I'm running now. One of the reasons to go with a kit is to help with all of the road crap that blows on my ride now. Do you think these sized wheel/tires would look good with this bumper/kit design...and without slamming?

What is the status for the bumpers anyway? Any update on being able to order with stock Scion colors? What is the durability of the bumpers compared do Duraflex?

Do I understand correctly that the kit will be available through dealers? My understanding from this forum is that they were being made in Reno, but Scionpro is in FL?? I'm probably not understanding this correctly.

Yes Scionpro is in Florida and they are currently manufactured in Reno. The quality is second to none with gel coat on both sides and a direct fit.

Duraflex and other supposedly flexible fiberglass are a gimic. The reason they flex is due to removal of hardners. This product may not flex like duraflex but it should sustain more force than you think. Someone curb checked their side skirts, actually kicked the car over a little. The side skirt only had a spider crack on the inside.

The side skirts are lower than stock and would close that under car gap like you are wondering about.

It's not the height of the side skirts I am wondering about but the width or how far from the body it extrudes to cover the wider wheels I mentioned.

Do I understand correctly that there is not only side skirts and bumpers, but an entire hood too? That's going to be very nice but expensive. Do you have an approximate price yet for the bumpers & hood?

And thanks for the info on the material being used. I hope you guys aren't going to wait for the economy to recover or pick up because I'm affraid that is going to be several years.

Tire size does not matter, what is the offset of your rim?

I mentioned in another thread that the rendered front end would have to be hand built custom and probably $2000-$3500. That is why the design of a different grille and front lip is being done that will still complete the look properly. It may not cause the hood to match the rendered lines in the photo but the grille and front bumper lines will flow right.

The economy is not going to take years to turn around enough for people to spend money on their cars again, but to answer your question that is not the deciding factor. The rear bumper will be out this year at some time. A front option to complete the look is yet to be decided.

The final renderings of the rear bumper as of now are in this thread. The only way things may change are if it is for manufacturability or recommendation from the prototype company for durability.

Once the rear is made we will be able to make the proper design decisions for the new front lip/grille options.
