Can you maybe indicate on the mockup what portion of the front will be in the bonnet part? I have seen different definitions of what makes up a bonnet. Just trying to get a good idea for planning purposes.

Ok, so it is not really a bonnet in the normal sense as a bonnet is normally the hood and such. It is actually a visor or sun visor depending on how you look at it. Similar to the popular visors from the 50's and often seen on trucks now. Now I understand better what you are talking about. Thanks.

You got it! It is a retro modern take on the old visors of the 50's. This visor is shallow over the front windshield and has a good contact patch into the roofline with a nice taper. It fits in between the drain rails and does not curve over the sides like the olden days or as seen on trucks. I am still staying with a modern look with this...dont want to throw it back into the ice ages my feet still havent thawed out from those days yet..lol

will it require drilling into the roof?? And the mid spoiler how will that be attached cause? will it rap arounf the sides of the car?

This will be a do it your self kit. Line it up prep peel and attach. The mid spoiler is a three piece design and fits around you wiper! You do not have to take it off. The upper rear spoiler does not require drilling either. The front visor/bonnet as we see it right now will not require drilling...this is the only part that may change as far as the install goes...depends on govt standards regarding this kind of part. The prototyping stage will settle this out by late next week. 3M adhesive tapes are the primary mounting media of choice by OEM and aftermarket manufactureres...this stuff is stronger than death...once its stuck its stuck period. Great questions keep em coming. Oh and I am working on a match paint deal from the factory.

I am shocked at the attention this kit is getting. People are liking it from coast to coast. This is a good thing. The prototyping will begin as soon as I can get a car into the shop. Still in need of a vehicle in the Sparks/Reno Nevada area. Once the car is in the shop it will only be 4 weeks to production or less. I will post up a full three piece spoiler special for my consistant supporters here on Club xB as I did with the Chrome Gen 1 Hatch Handles. Thank you all. oooh thats too southern! Florida is seeping into my blood.

We have a car! Jason svcscions has donated his ride to have the stage one and two of the kit prototyped on his car. This includes the front visor, up swept rear spoiler, mid spoiler, and side skirts! I would so jump on this if I had this chance. I'm already being prototyped for a body kit :-( I am so bummed on this!

I will be at SEMA and I wish I could have got the front visor, up swept rear spoiler, and mid spoiler if it was ready for SEMA since I'm in it.

ahhh im lovin it .. the mid spoiler looks like a spoiler off a Golf or GTI i always wanted one for the box .. and i love the grille too cant wait to see real pics ahhhh

This is insane...it totally redesigns the entire vehicle into a classic/smooth/clean yet damn mean looking car. please make a kit for 1st generation!! Can't wait to see the finshed product.

By the looks of the sketches it alos looks like the kit took some styling queues from the bB ex...flatter sllightly sloped front end. Take the hideous bubble shape out of the new xB, and it's pretty clean! Now just to add some suicide doors
