I am going to paint my hubcaps, and need to remove the emblems... I thought they would just pop out... and back in... but it looks like if I remove them the may not go back on without glue.... Does anyone know? Anyone done this?

oops... dont know how I got here, but can someone move this to the appropriate spot?

you have to pop out the hubcaps and take it out from the back. if you pop it out from the front you will break the clips (which i learned the hard way)and then you will have to glue it back on.

yeah i know that... i have them off now... put the clips on the inside look like they arent reusable... like if i pull them out they will break and/or not go back in.... i will try to force it out i guess... thats why they make glue....

Yeah just take it easy. I did it to my set I got from Scion at Exposed last year because I was planning on getting some bigger subs and I was going to use them as grilles for the subs.

and BTW, I got the scion logos off... you have to push really hard on the backside 2 pieces that come through... I was thinking maybe they need to be squeezed inward, then pushed out.... but i just put pressure on the pieces with my needlenose pliers and they popped off....

for mine all I did was tap lightly on the prongs and they poped right out the front. Painted the covers satin black and pushed them back in. worked great.
