Re: Foglight Mishap

As far as I know you should be covered for a year if they are factory oem fogs that came in the Toyota Parts box.. If they are "like" oem fogs, same design but not Toyota Id say no. If I were you Id just go to your dealer and talk to them, but dont mention you got em off eBay, cant hurt to try....

Re: Foglight Mishap

I doubt the lens will be covered at the dealer. It was probably a rock chip. I recently put some headlight armor on mine and noticed that after a year my left fog had some considerably sized rock chips. Laminx also makes protestant films. Good luck.

Did the lens crack or is a chunk missing?

Re: Foglight Mishap

I just installed the OEM fog lights on my xB and was concerned about that happening as well...I might try to find some type of protective film to install over the lens

Re: Foglight Mishap

Beware when buying OEM fogs on Ebay. I bought a set that had the Toyota glass but cheap knockoff plastic housing. It didn't come with all of the necessary pieces to install the lights (little plastic clips) let alone the relay and switch required.
