| finally got my smoked taillights in !!!
 
Thanks to all in this forum who helped me figure out how to switch them out !

i am also a sucker for white, i dont really care for the 2nd gen but it does look tuff in white.

I bought them on ebay...$160 plus like $20 for shipping or something like that.

Still trying to find a way to smoke out the reverse lens

looks good...i want to do mine on my classic silver, as well as the rverse light. did you trade in your stocks as a core exchange. the ones i saw on egay gave a considerable refund when you send him your og's. can you post some night pics so i can see how dim they are? | |

I did not send my original taillights to the guy, he did offer $60 for them, but i kept them for the just in case factor... if god forbid someone cracked one of my tailights or something, i can pop the originals back in for a quick fix...

to be honest, i am not sure if they are dim at all or not,
my wife has been behind me on the highway at night and said they are alot dimmer next to other cars...
thankfully i dont need to use the lights to see, so i dont care how dim they are ....
