Fiberglass rumion conversion kit

if you were able to buy a fiberglass rumion conversion kit for less than the original price.. would you guys buy it? a friend of mine wanted me to make this poll because he was kind of curious if he should make the rumion kit with added lip as part of the bumper, or maybe even stock.. what do you guys think?

Questions? Comments?

I actually prefer the look of the xB2 rather than the Rumion. But that's just me.

Re: Fiberglass rumion conversion kit

ok since i have a lot of no's on this forum.. what do you guys think of a rumion front bumper ON the xb2 face? basically molding and fitting the bumper onto the xb2 so it uses the same headlights fenders hood.. etc..?

Re: Fiberglass rumion conversion kit

Honestly, I think the part that I like the least about the front end of the Runion is the lower portion of the bumper. The rectangular fog lights don't really flow very well with the look to me.

Re: Fiberglass rumion conversion kit

planning on modifying either version to a garson style kit? lol .. only problem is.. getting enough people to actually sell it to so he could probably patent it.. because if not.. i'll end up like the other kit my friend made.. copied by AIT and now they're selling them.. so knocking off a "knock off" kit lameeee

oh might i add.. they're also using my picture and photoshopping it and posted it on their website without my permission.. i emailed them already.. but lets just give them a week or less

Re: Fiberglass rumion conversion kit

Id say do it and see how it comes out. Some people might like it after they see it done. Any renderings of what it would look like?

Re: Fiberglass rumion conversion kit

nyte_ryder.. it'd look just like a rumion.. with a lip kit.. or something molded on.. kind of like that front bumper that was made by.. ait.. where it was just a bumper... with a lip attatched..

well.. with too many people saying no.. the idea was pretty much dropped.. the guy i was talking to decided it wouldnt work out.. fitment is fitment.. if its a good mold.. it'll be as close as it can get.. authentic japanese front ends arent perfect either.. and the guy i knew paid about 3k for the front end.. and parts where the fiberglass was supposed to continue.. just wasnt there, so imo.. it has nothing to do with price, but more on if its a good mold or not
