Well I did the wiper delete today. I used a black nylon plug from Lowes.Here's a heads up, I originally went shopping for a 1 7/8s or 32 mm plug, as stated above. That is not the correct size for a 2009 XB RS6. I could not find a metal plug, as the size needed is somewhere between 1 inch and 1 1/8 . One inch metal being too small, and 1 1/8 being too big. The Black nylon 1 inch was a perfect fit.

It is a 1" hole. The reason why the 1" and 1/78" METAL plug will NOT work is because the metal plug has a ton of little "fingers" that hold it in. where as the nylon plug has 2 clips that stick out just a fraction more than the metal plug does. it's the extension of the slips that make the difference. I even tried spreading the clips(fingers) of the metal plug just a little to make it grab, but I couldn't make it work. the nylon plug "snapped" right into place.

wow.. the plug is only $7.26 at the honda dealer.. all 3 of the local dealerships were out of stock on it though =( guess i'll have to get it next month when i'm home oh well

so i ordered two.. one to paint and one to not paint.. anyone have any tips on getting paint to not crack when you press the plug into the hole? i got a small bottle of touch up paint and brushed it over the plug.. matched great.. but when i pressed it into the hole, the coat of paint on the plug split down the middle =(

The touchup paint from the dealer, does it come in a spray can? Or in a small bottle with an applicator brush? Those who have the BSP xb are you using the touchup paint in a bottle or did you buy an aerosol spray? If so which color seems to match the best?

Has anyone heard of someone putting a rear-view cam in the wiper hole? If so, I'd be interested to see that.

there's a flush mount rear camera on ebay.. it requires a 1.25" hole though.. you'd have to widen the hole and then you could flush mount that camera in there.. i'm sure there are others out there that may be smaller, but that was the first i found
