Springs

I'm considering lowering my xB and have been looking through this forum to help with my decision. From what I can tell, I can't see anyone who was disappointed in Tanabes, Road Magnets or Sprint springs. Other than the amount of drop are these three pretty comparable with regards to handling??

Re: Springs

I believe they're all progressive rate springs, so I think they're comparable, handling wise.

Re: Springs

i got some eibach pro kits i was planning on putting on today. i got them because they only drop the car about 1" all around, which is fine with me because i use my car for work/dd and i also carry around 200-250 lbs. of work stuff. wont be putting on the springs maybe next week, damn snow

Re: Springs

Thanks for the replies. Can you post some pics of your car after you put the Eibachs in jingjing?? Mine is a DD too and I'm a pretty big guy. Don't want to rub everywhere I go

Re: Springs

The DF210s are low, at least on 18s. I have bottomed it out several times but thats to be expected. They are much stiffer than stock as well. Otherwise there is a bit less body roll but I still want a sway bar. If I had more money I would bag it.

Re: Springs

TRD springs are nice too if your going to be daily driving your car. I daily drive mine with TRD and only rub when I am going too fast over a speed bump or on a steep driveway.

Re: Springs

i have df210's and love em. im still on stock wheels, and have about 1-1.5" gap between the fenders and tires. handles alot better....but still want rear sway bar as well. i think a nice set of 17's will take care the rest of the gap with enough room to aviod any rubbing. ill post some pics tomarrow.
