I have a gen 2 xb and I'm looking to buy lowering springs but don't know the best brand or place to buy them. help would be great at this time.

df210s are 2 inch drop
nf210 are 1.5 inch drop

Thanks for the URL... after doing some basic price checks from roadmagnet.com; and compared against ebay's items..

...the Tanabe nf210's and df210's are available; and both for less than what's on roadmagnet. I'm all for going the 'less expensive' route. Are the roadmagnet THAT MUCH better to warrant spending more money, or just stick with the Tanabe's?

Also, I was comparing the NF210's and DF210's.. both seem great, the website says the the NF is geared towards comfort while the DF is for the lowest possible drop (if I'm wrong, someone please correct me). Its hard to gauge what the car would look like between a 1.5" and/or 2" drop. IF anyone has pics of their xB with stock wheels, but just with a 1.5" or a 2" drop so I could compare; it would really help me out.

Ultimately I think if the car was lowered enough, I wouldn't need a body kit. I like the design of the body overall, anyway. But I don't want the ride to be uncomfortable. Ideas/help? =)

And how are Sprints as far as ride quality? Can I run 20s with the Sprints?

hey guys im thinking about lowering my box to BUT i dont think ebay springs is the way to go. i would really look in to some well known springs like tein megan newspeed something like that. cause i mean those other springs could be crap and they could just end up warping on you. thats what happen to my frined on his 240 he bought a set of ebay springs and they turned out to be a pos set of spring

Never buy no name suspension parts or brake parts. Do a little searching and you will find out what spring is right for you.

I love the ride of my Tanabe DF210 springs. They feel very similar to stock but 2 inches lower.


There you go.. Im still looking for the 'right' wheel.

Since were reviving an old thread I will say I have DF210s and love em. To me they ride about 10x worse than stock.

what ?? 10 times worse than stock? What do you mean? To me they feel a bit stiffer, which keeps me level in the turns. But its not too stiff, they still soak up the ruff stuff.
