Re: Lowering?

how about using the springs from the 1st g ? i heard it gives you a close to stock ride with a nice drop

I wouldn't do it. The first gen is 600 pounds lighter than ours.

Did you read what I wrote? Pandaky used them in the rear only and Randole used in the rear only also. That was before anything else came out though. Why are you wanting to use first gen springs anyways?

Re: Lowering?

i actually will be putting 1st genxb springs on my 09 xb within a week or so whenever i get the time. Ive seen people put 1st genxb teins s techs on 2nd gen, looks cool and not really any complaints. I decided to go with 1st for the comfort and small drop average 1'' or so because i the wheels i picked up have a wide offset.

Ill post some pics when they are on.

Re: Lowering?

OEM springs would be fine, but I wouldn't go with aftermarket 1gen springs on a 2Gen.

I have the 1Gen springs on the rear of my 2Gen and it rides like factory. 2Gen Df210's on the front.

Might be a bigger drop in the front though, since the weight difference, and they will be a paint to keep switching the fronts. Backs take 5 minutes, fronts about 45 minutes of hell in the driveway.

Re: Lowering?

Just finished putting xb1 oem springs on the rear, only took me 30 mins with a torque wrench. I decided to just do the rears only, because it has a even drop with the front. So im satisfied with it, even though everyone that sees it says more more more!

Re: Lowering?

hey, marked03.............more, more, more!

lol. my set up right now:

DF210 springs
Tokico HP shocks (front, going to wait until i replace the rear)

it's slightly stiffer than when i have the OEM front shocks. can't beat the cost as well : around $400
