Los Angeles - Looking For TRD Springs/installation

Hi Everyone,

I am happy to say that I finally got a Scion Xb '08. I traded in my 05 benz 230 for this I am glad I did.

I have been stopping by this site for the past two weeks and everyone seems very helpful. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place in Los Angeles that sells the TRD spring and can install/align.

I was at the dealer (Longo Toyota) and they quoted me 700 dollars for springs and installation and I couldn't believe it.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone. I am happy to be part of the club.

TRDsparks.com has the springs for a decent price. HINT* use commercial shipping and have them shipped to your work if possible. Ebay has some decent deals as well. As for the install find someone in your area that can help you DIY. Welcome to the club and post some pics.

Here you go, but I'm not sure if he has sold them yet or not.

Well I am not sure how mechanically inclined you are but you will have to have a spring compressor for the 08 and I would suggest a friend who had done it before. If you live close to some of the other clubxb members you might be able to find one that works for beer and foor

I had TRD before I went with the DF210 springs. I had Ross over at Midnight Garage install. It took anout 1/2 an hour

For installation contact either Vi or Inzo at

Elite Auto Performance
4615 W. Artesia Blvd
Lawndale CA 9026
310-370-0377

They have worked on both my 350z and my XB and do excellent work. They have a lift in the shop and do springs, exhaust, audio and video, tint among other mods.

Let them know Turbonetics Ed sent you...

Re: Los Angeles - Looking For TRD Springs/installation

In June my wife and I bought a 08 XB (on our aniversary). We had the Dealer install the TRD springs (and other options) and if I remember right, the lowering option was $250.00. Did we get a really good deal or have the springs gone up that much since June?

If you're near the SCV or want to drive there I charge a flat $50 for xB Spring install. It takes all of 30 minutes to chage out at the shop.
