| Re: Hotchkis Sway Bars You are confused. You said "now I'm wating for new struts, shocks, and strut bars front and back to complete the suspension." This implies that there are strut bars available for the front and the back.
A "strut bar" connects the top of the struts together to prevent chassis flex, and in the case of the rear of the xB, would connect the tops of the shocks. As far as I know, these are not available anywhere.
A "sway bar" prevents side-to-side roll, and in the case of the back of the xB, connects to the torsion beam where the bottoms of the shocks are mounted. |

| Re: Hotchkis Sway Bars So, do I flip a coin between the TRD and the Hotchkis rear swaybar?? Doesn't look like that much difference in $$ and looks like they install about the same?? Correct, or am I missing something other than my sanity? |

| Re: Hotchkis Sway Bars It's not really a great idea to try to use a conglomeration of parts when it comes to suspension. You're really better off getting a matched swaybar set. The Hotchkis are engineered as a set. |

| Re: Hotchkis Sway Bars Rear sway bar makes a night and day difference in most FWD cars. I have put one on my past 3 vehicles and every time its a huge, noticeable difference. Front sways and struts help tighten it up a little more but the rear sway is best bang for the buck imho |

Do it right...do it all or don't do it at all That's my motto. |
