There are only a few "quality" spring manufatures out there.....When I say "quality" what I mean is they have the available capitol to purchase the VERY expensive machines that properly roll a spring. Alot of spring "manufactures" outsource their production to these companies and then relable the spring and sell it as their product.....which is fine and dandy, but often times you will not have the warrantee or support of the larger company.....The companies that dont have the proper equipment and still manufacture a sub-par spring are the ones I would be worried about and trust me, there are alot of them these days.

| Re: DF210's Installed W/ Pics So you are saying TRD springs aren't "quality" springs then? Because mine did get lower after a week or so. |

Who installed your springs?

It's possible. How do you know they were any lower a week after you installed them? What dimension did you measure? |

It's hard, real figures that we can start to make improvements on what we are starting with (xb2). We don't want to make judgements or decisions based off of "eyeballed it," "I think," etc. That is how misinformation is converted to "truth." Then all the sheep follow...... |

| Re: DF210's Installed W/ Pics they settled about 3/4 of an inch. i measured a few spots like center of wheel to fender, ground to fender, rocker sill to ground, etc. i noticed that after a week after i installed them, my car started to dog trail to the right. so i threw it back on the alignment rack at work and measured and found they had lowered 3/4 of an inch from when i did the alignment last (after i installed the springs). so yeah. |

| Re: DF210's Installed W/ Pics ok i vote we don't listen to jisu009 any more. First springs will settle no matter who makes them. think about it over time weight bearing down on the springs will change, same with leaf springs ask anyone who off roads, races or has an old muscle car. |

You probably won't be able to tell much of a difference in ride quality between those 3 so the biggest factor is how low you wanna go. If you drive in areas w/ inclines, bumps, dips, etc. you would want to go with the TRD's or NF210, both have about the same drop and cost about the same. Now if you can go lower than 1 1/2 inches I'd go DF210's or Tein S techs. I rolled Tein s techs for over a year before I got my coilovers. Hope that helps. |

I usually see a set go for sale at least once a month on various sites. I actually have my set of Tein S techs I've been holding for someone but they might be up for sale if he falls through. You can score a much better deal on a used set of springs like around $100-$120 shipped which will save ya an easy $50. |
