1st gen springs on xb2? any Fab work needed?

the title basically describes what i need to know...... if you take some good coils for the first gen box and put them on your xb2, is there any fab work needed to throw them on there or are they interchangeable and if so what brands are more compliant?

Why not just buy some springs or coil over that are made for the 2nd gen? That way you have the right spring rates.

its the rates that are different, the 2nd gens are 600 pounds heavier from what i have read, yea it may look good that low, u wont have enough spring rate to keep u from bottoming out,

Let me help you out....

DONT PUT XB1 SPRINGS ON AN XB2!!!

Why?....one might ask....
1 - xb2 is 600lbs heavier
2 - bigger motor means more weight over the front axles

Seriously...what is so hard about this concept? The springs were not made for the xB2 so why even risk it with something THAT important to the way the car behaves.
