I just noticed on our XB that the trac off light is always on . I pushed the button and it stayed the same. Nothing on the dash came on or went off when I pushed it. ( on my stang when the trac was off its said so ( light on) when it was on it just said trac) am i missing something here or is something possible wrong

Re: TRAC switch

the trac cont is always on. the only way to disable it is to hold the button down till you get the OFF light to come on. that can be done with the car running and not moving. the only problem is, when you shut the car off, it automatically turns itself back on. hope this helps

Re: TRAC switch

I have no "TRAC" switch. I have a "VSC Off" (vehicle stability control) switch. Push it in, the "VSC Off" light comes on the gauge-face. Push it again, light goes out and VSC is active. Do yours actually say "TRAC" on them? I have an automatic. Maybe this is specific to manual if this is what you guys have?
