| Re: Short Shifter Installed!!! yeah u gonna see also there is virtually no way u can get that clip off from top, what they dont show in directions is that the wireharnesses are right in the way. and not easilly moved, i tried I removed the clips holding them in place and they only were able to be moved a little, bottom ftw! |

| Re: Short Shifter Installed!!! it is possible to remove it from the top. I was able to do with with needle nose pliers. I didn't try to force pull it, but use leverage to my advantage by putting the nose "under" the clip, and simply "levering" it out. It was actually very simple.
Overall, the BEST mod you can buy....night and day difference. |

| Re: Short Shifter Installed!!! just installed my short shifter!!!
car has 3200mi on it and i was already sick of the stock shifter.
thanks for the tip on getting that U-clip off! I fought with it for about 10min then decided to jump online to see if others were having the same problem. Low and behold, i found this thread and i went back to the garage, grabbed the clip with some channel locks, moved it back n forth and that thing came right now. OH BTW, i did it all from the top of the engine bay, no jack or jack stands for me! |

Next stop - sway bars (and eventually springs). |

What if you pick it up from the "connection" and I pay the diff so we are even.. I'll pay you back for picking it up for me in labor? That way you control when I get my shifter.. Deal? |
