Someone please school my ignorant ass on rims.

I've got stock, but and see people with cool fancy rims. So what's the deal? Is this just cool or about performance, or both.

I know nothing.

depends on what ur trying to do...u can definately get performance race rims with style to spare, but I think most is personal preference and style..low pro tires help with performance also.

I believe you are asking about wheels. Technically, a rim and a wheel are not the same thing, the rim is a part of the wheel. The rim of a wheel is the outer circular design of the metal on which the inside edge of the tire is mounted.

That being said, new sets of wheels definitely add to the appearance and look of your ride.
