| Re: EBay exhaust, anyone else? 2Gen. I put mine on during my lunch beak, about 30min.
It does hit up against the bottom of the car everyonce in awhile during bumpy turns.
There are no tentioner bolts, just solid connections. Everything fits real good though. No problems. |

| Re: EBay exhaust, anyone else? 2Gen. Get a pulley and it sounds real smooth during acceleration. Glad you like it, it's a bargain at $175.
oh, let me know if yours stinks for the next few days. Mine stinks, I haven't really got under it to see if it was burning anything.

| Re: EBay exhaust, anyone else? 2Gen. Well pretty much anything will be quieter than my flowmaster 10 series, which I might be willing to donate to anyone looking for a really loud muffler. A pulley is on the list for after tax returns
i would be interested if it is for a xbg2 and you want to get rid of it. let me know! thanks |

| Re: EBay exhaust, anyone else? 2Gen. Smell is gone, so is the rattle. The flange between the mid-pipe and rear section rattled against a bolt to the suspension, I stuck a rubber bumper between the two to stop it. I love the exhaust, cost was just a bonus. |

| Re: EBay exhaust, anyone else? 2Gen. Quite often exhaust system parts will be coated for rust prevention. This coating will quickly burn off after the car is driven a while with a warmed system. The smell usually dissipates before you get the extinguisher! However, I'd want to be sure I wasn't burning my ride. On a side note, I was wondering about engine compartment temps with headers considering the heat shield has been removed. A nybody ever notice higher running temps or other results? |
