Gotta open the hood when you smell that and try to look for the source.

check all connection on hoses, tubing w/o-ring area and petcock. and like cravin posted, check heater core/radiator heater assembly by blasting the heater with motor running. when my heater core had a leak, i smelled that radiator fluid smell and then, my front windshield fogged up on my celica supra.

click here for the 04-06.5 heater assembly pdf doc.

You have a leak. Anytime you smell anti frz its because its leaking. check all fittings after you get out of your car when it is still hot. Do you know any one that has a rad presure tester.

Re: Does anybody get a radiator smell from there XB

I get that from mine sometimes after a long drive. My level has been fine, I marked the tank with a sharpie for reference and its been right on whenever I check it. From the research I found the cooling system on the xb is a little different than norman because we have no radiator cap. We have a coolant box with pressure cap above the radiatior. That is because the radiator is below the motor and due to gravity you could never fill it. The smell of coolant is from the pressure in the cooling box. This is what I could find out. I am not 100% of the accuracy but it makes sense. I hope this helps and if you findout anymore please post because I'm curious to find out why also.
