08 XB2 tranny and brakee issues

so i have a 08 scion xb with an auto tranny. I got it (july 19 2007) it had something like 18 miles on it and from about 500-600 miles and above (now has 45,XXX mi) it clicks or clunks when it down shifts when i come to a stop. ive read about it and a lot of people are having the same issue but the dealer keeps taking my $55.00 and saying nothings wrong.... 3 times now ive taken it in with no positive outcome

also my driver side brake almost sounds like it grinds when i stop but mostly when there cold what could it be? and there is still a good amount of pad and the rotor looks just like it should also it only happens when im stopping between 15-5 mph and if i push harder or let off the brakes a little it stops

please let me know cuz its driving me crazy
