k - i was just wondering becasue i have a 06 alarm but it doesn't fit my car (2005) the alarm says 2006 xA didn't think it would be much of a problem

Yea, mine says 06. They changed it to work with the steering controls. Don't know why it should make such a difference, but it does.

does the alarm have RKE with it? I don't know what it stands for, becasue I haven't cared to look since it doesn't fit, but maybe my alarm is for a 2006.5 with those steering controls only and that's why it may not fit. Regardless I ask only becasue I want to get rid of mine or find one that will fit mine

It says '06 on the box... RKE is Remote Keyless Entry.
The alarm can be programmed to use your existing keyless remote.
