| What does this mean??? On the dash the ABS, BRAKE, VCS, and traction light are all on all the time. What does this mean? How much am I looking at to get it fixed? With all of that on I have no ABS or traction control. The car has 42k on it so Toyota's 3yr/36k BS is out the door for me. Should have gotten a domestic for the better warranty purposes.
No brake work has been done
No the brake handle isn't pulled
No I don't just have traction turned off
No work has been done under the hood to affect any fuses
No work has been done on the car at all |

| Re: What does this mean??? Domestic you'll need the better waranty. Sure it's something minor, would brakes set off the light? Mine are almost always on, but I have a header and still passed inspection. Go to Autozone or something, they'll check it for free. GL. |

| Re: What does this mean??? Its not a check engine light. No codes have been thrown. My gas cap would have nothing to do with traction control and ABS. Yes, the fluid is normal. |

| Re: What does this mean??? all of them lights are on in my xb, they all come on most the time, not just the check engine. I forgot to plug the maf sensor in on my 1gen when i replaced the intake and they all came on. My ex took a turn really hard once in her tC and it caused her car to die and all lights to come on.
How are the brakes, not fluid. Due for brakes? I'm at 14k on my 08. Might have them run the code reader anyway. |

| Re: What does this mean??? read the owner's manual the gas cap not on right will throw those lights. the brake fluid being low is a sign pads need replacing. Autozone probably can not read the codes anyway since it is Canbus not OBII, they can not read mine |

You need to have them read using professional scanner that can read Enhanced Body and Chassis Data (not just engine related, so simple code reader will not help).
You may be able to read those fault codes using a paper clip but i can't verify that it's done the same way as Gen1. Here is the thread with Gen1 instructions and codes, if interested: Help!! dash light-VSC,ABS,trac off,Brake |
