| running with a porsche today as i was getting on the highway i had a newer 911 ahead of me- so for snits and giggles i decided to see if i could stay with him thru the turn on the clover leaf-and as soon as we hit the highway it was clear so i mashed the peddle and got beside him and started to pull away-
it was a good race up to 80,at 80 he just took off-
so i guess the xb has some serious balls going from 40-80 |

Porsche is in a completely different class. Plus like 3X the HP. He could probably be in his 6th gear at 40mph and still out accelerate a N/A no-mod xB.
Nonetheless, I think it speaks to your driving skills that you can hear your car's feedback in a tight turn and keep it stuck to the road.
ALWAYS REMEMBER: It's safER (but not completely safe) to push the limits on a TRACK. AutoX |

| Re: running with a porsche I passed a Porsche just before the turn from the 8 to the 163 north here in San Diego about 3 weeks ago. I took the turn pretty fast like I always do and I guess he wanted to teach me a lesson and pass me while we were in the turn. Problem was he went around me so fast on the right that he lost control and got sideways then fished tailed it. I think he scared himself when I passed him later on he wouldn't look at me. He was all 10 and 2 on the steering wheel eyes straight ahead. He was and older guy to probably in his 50's. |
