My particular parts came from Quality Bumper in Tucson, AZ. ( www.qualitybumper.com) I was quoted a total price of $430.08 tax included. Robert at Quality Bumper said they do ship.
You can also get the parts directly from Carriage Works at www.cwgrilles.com
I really love the grilles and reccomend them highly!! They really seem to clean up the front of the xB! | You're awesome~! I'll probably order a set once I get some cash
Thanks for letting me know.

No problem man. I am trying to get the tape off the A pillars today. It has been giving me some trouble so I called up a good shop and they can do it for $30, that ain't bad. Are you planning on removing the tape around the doors and windows? If you do I would love to see pics of that. |

Otherwise I feel like you will have nothing to break up all that teal. Might look ok if you tinted your front windows though. Just a few thoughts. |

I got the tape removed from the "A" pillars today. I was going to do it myself but the guys at "Auto Trim Design" in Tucson have a cool steam machine that loosend it up and it came off in ten minutes. I love the way that it looks!! |

| New Custom Paint Job Design Hey everybody,
Since this seems to be the HTM thread I thought I would post this here. Since before I bought my xB I have wanted to trick it out to some level to reflect the old VW Bus style and color scheme. I found a free 30 trial of Photoshop and went to work. I have never used Photoshop so please forgive the uneven lines. I think everyone will get the idea though. Please let me know what you think, I always value everyone's opinion in this forum.
No date to actually get it done yet (I need to save for the cost) But I will tell you after spending all the hours to photoshop on that paint job I now sigh a little bit everytime I walk out to my xB and it doesn't have the custom paint job. Oh well someday soon. |

You must have been driving the '06 that I blew away off the line the other night, enjoy your 1.5 liter. Quote:

If you look at a 1968 VW bus you can get a better idea of what I am going for. Thanks for your feedback though!

took it out for a spin because they are universal caps and stick out about a 1/4 inch-wanted to make sure they were going to stay on-lol
went by a pack of crotch rocket kids who stopped talking and all looked at the xb-so i guess it looks as kool as i thought-
ill try and borrow a camera and take a pic-but you can take my word for it they look awsome |

| Re: Hypnotic Teal Mica - Wow!! I am torn. I am not a big fan on how you followed the back window with the stripe. But I love how you followed that curve under the headlight, sheer awesomeness. In any case well done! Did you put it on yourself? |

| Re: Hypnotic Teal Mica - Wow!! Thanks! Yeah, I love the front stripe, it almost looks like the car is wearing eyeliner (haha).
I wanted to do something different with the back window, I knew most people wouldn't be fond of it but I quite like it (and to be honest, it looks a lot better in person when you can actually see it hug the curve of the body line).
I put it on myself with some help from my grandfather, who used to do professional pinstriping. |
