Cool to hear from you, Can you tell us about your RS 5.0, like what options did you get on it and did you get a wing?

2500 would be a cool No. to have.
You know they are shipped from Japan by Nipon Shipping, maybe you can track it down on it's ship.
It's probably stuck in the Panama Canal, HA,Ha,Ha.

Re: Gold Rush Count Off, who hase one and what No. is it

the port of call for all the scions is the west coast, then they truck them over to the east side..
If you want I can ask my buddy who is a sales rep for a scion dealership for specific lingo that you could use on your salesman.
I have noticed that several salesman I have spoken too only know how to bullshit about a scion especially the RS.

My RS 5.0 is No. 1522

It is stock, with a 5speed.
The only extra option is the scion cassette scent, and the square fuzzy orange dice.

This is a link to pics of my xB RS 5.0

It is number 393.
We traded our '05' silver XB in while getting it's oil changed, for this '08'.
We added the wheels 18's Akita's, TRD exhaust and CAI...spoiler on the way.
Thanks to Daarken pointing it out we need to get that vent cut for some fresh air.

Re: Gold Rush Count Off, who has one and what No. is it

if i get a newer one i'll have to have a secx\ond reverse light put on...thats really the only thing that bugs me about the new ones. symmetry is a pet peeve of mine haha!!!

OH! and sexy blonde...not to freak you out but one of my friends got the teal toyota camry, they told her like 4-5 weeks...took about 4 months! just thought you should have fair warning. if you paid for it already then go down there and give them grief about it...seemed to get here quick when we did that haha. GOOD LUCK!!!

Re: Gold Rush Count Off, who has one and what No. is it

hers should be nearer then that.
I ordered mine and it took less then a week to get here.
I spoke to my local scion guy, and he indicated that a shipment release was the last week of march, but that might be the south region.

Eong.. you might want to just skip getting the CAI, and go with a shortram like the K&N or weaponR.
The CAI is nice, but is it worth cutting a limited edition body kit? If you have to have the CAI, I suggest you have the front body kit unbolted and pulled off. The bumper body underneath should be normal.

Re: Gold Rush Count Off, who has one and what No. is it

do not go with chrome Mainly because there isnt any other chrome on the car.

A graphite, or black chrome would look nice.
I suggest a nice 5 or 7 spoke wheel, (to show off the brakes).

Daarken, We already have the TRD stuff on the car...I talked with the guys at the dealer and the techz said it still pulls in fresh air from the same area as the standard intake....So I looked to the lower grill area and can see the inlet area to the left corner, I think some additional duct work should help it out some. Let know if you see what I saw.

Re: Gold Rush Count Off, who has one and what No. is it

yeah dont let them guys rip you off, a friend of mine just bought an xB with the 17" scion wheels (nice) and they gave him a $100 credit from the factory wheels/tires.
I told him howmuch the dealer charges for a tire itself ($125)
