My xB is quick, but not fast....I cured that.

Driving my xB with the little 1.5L motor is nice, fuel economy is good and very easy to park in smaller places. If it had maybe 150 hp it would probably get the same MPG and be quite a bit faster from all I have read. So I figured I needed some more power, then I thought about steroids for the horses I have, the same amount of them, just much stronger. I came up with a way to make my ponies four times stronger, 109 hp is now 436 hp.

Here is a picture from the car show in Canton, GA of my xB with it's power mod.

Did you add stickers? ...OOOOH the vette. lol at first I thought that was your white box in the back. I guess the focus of the photo wasn't clear enough. Congrats on the buy!

The white xB is mine, I also picked up the new Vette for my speed needs.

The funny thing is that I am getting 30 mpg in the Vette on the highway, that is about what the xB gets.

Nice Vette! here's what I use for my "fix" for my speed needs. My mileage isn't quite as good as yours on the highway, a swap to 4.10's made me lose a few MPG. The LSX engines never cease to amaze me, good to see someone else representing

It's gotta be just you. Mine, the whole thing rattles past around 98-100.

Re: My xB is quick, but not fast....I cured that.

My speed fix is to drive my wife's tC. Pathetic isn't it.. LOL! Actually, if I want to drive something with some torque, I borrow my bro's Hemi Magnum for awhile. It's fun to turn off traction control and cross that big SOB up from a stop light through the first couple of gears. (We've done a little work to it)

Someone at a show this spring had that same problem. They also fixed it. Yes, it's RWD. Not sure of what to make of a Chevy motor on a Ford rear end in a Toyota, but it has Historic plates.
