| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! its not cheating, plus its better than bottoming out.

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! i did it only for sparks, hahah
i actually took them off cause id rather lay frame. with the blocks it held me up from laying out flat.
re-plateing the frame didn't sound like fun to me.

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! no it doesnt! it seems once you start lowering your ride, the "ground" just isn't low enough anymore. i wish the box didnt have so much plastic....somebody needs to make a metal bodykit for the box (easier to fix). |

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! no its a complete set of 2 - its a L bracket with a 2" solid steel block welded to it and then 2 bolts are threaded thru and connect the 1" titanium block which is also pre threaded. good design but we all now how creative we can be to make something a little lighter on the walled for the same effect. but one would only need a few tools to make in house, not to mention material for hours of fun and hopefully no tickets. |

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! well like I said, this is my old cavalier. Jay's seen it in action. lol.
But the xB exhaust tucks up much better than the cavailers. I just didn't care if I drug anything off. I ripped my front lip off like 4 times, the catback was destroyed on at least 5 different occasions. But again. I didn't care. Sparks are so pretty, and dragging stuff off was a bit of a point of pride. Some people had even ripped and twisted up engine cradles. There were about 5 of us fighting to be the lowest and drag the hardest. lol. |

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! ok here is what I am running.
mine is welded to a tow bar for the xB, I think it is the Curt one. This way if I get in trouble I can just get under there undo 4 bolts and take the whole thing off. I need to rubber mount the thing at some point, it is HARD on the car, I have been going down the road dragging before, and my horn button fell off the steering wheel, the sunroof switch fell down, popped one of my A pillers off. Also it shattered my rear LED underbody light in the back as well. and when I was under there the other week changing my balls out I noticed that I had lost one of the 4 bolts that holds the bar on, and the other 3 were loose. They are in my neck of the woods. I had thought about going with them as well, but I just could not pay that much for something I was going to go threw so fast.

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! gothbox - how much do trailer balls go for now a days? just curious, but the 50 bucks i spent on 2 blocks - does it compare to what you spent on your setup?
im thinking there was a price for the tow bracket, the steel to weld up ( i assume you know how to weld and saved money doing it yourself), and the 4 balls.....is it still under 50 bucks? if so, im going your route - better bang for my buck. but i do have a trick up my sleeve for the winter time that will include a xb tow bar - hasnt been done yet if that helps any!
awesome vids by the way...gotta see if i can track down the few that i have! keep draggin. |

| Re: Dragblock/balls - pics of whos got em! You can get some big balls for like 10 bucks a piece, defiantly cheaper than blocks, but not as much sparks. but still a pretty show |
