Re: Convert you car to run on water for $200?
... as far as cars today getting alot less mpgs.... there are alot more restrictions on cars as far as safety and pollution, so it is more difficult to produce the same mpgs for a low price...
This is interesting...I didn't think chemistry would show up on this site - myself working on my BS in Medicinal Chemistry and knowing exactly what 804 means when hydrolysis doesn't work to an appreciable extent and the practical side of a bad design. Anyways you could probably get better gas mileage with a properly tuned turbo or just look at VW and the way they have perfected Turbo Diesel. I mean 50 mpg???? on a fuel more crude than gasoline but obviously the ingenuity is in the engine
Simple put (restated) hydrolysis is not good for large amounts of power
well a acar running on water was unveiled in tokyo this last week by a company called genepax. it goes 80km on 1L of water it's crazy. i doubt we'll ever see it over here some how our gov wont allow it im sure
car companys have been trying this stuff, if they havent gotten the hydrgen cells to produce enough hydrogen to make the car run long enough, i doubt this guy got anywhere. Point is, no car company has a production worth car that runs off the tech. yet, and this guy is trying to get money and screw over people.
There's a shop locally that installs a modified version of this on any vehicle and guarantees 50% better mileage or a full refund. I know 2 people that have it running currently.
Apparently potassium nitrate instead of baking soda is like 400% more efficient.
I am sure there is some velidity in these claims, but I have yet to see any hard proof like dino's friction tests, temp test, you know thing that would further proove it. Hell the Prolong commertial on tv saturdays has done a better job at prooving it'self.
All I'm saying is i'd need proof before i installed on my car.
I have one on my 2006 xb. My best mileage before installation was 46.3 average for the day. After installation my best was 50.7 average for the day. These figures are from my scangauge II. Whether it is the hho gen or me doing hypermiling to get the increase is uncertain. Anyway, I researched many generators and felt the one march-labs sells on ebay for $198.00 was the best for the price.
