| Re: Rhino Line? btw. If you want to do your floor. Undercoating is a good way to go. Light weight, strong, and dampens sounds. I did this to my old cavalier (90 cavalier). It made the trunk area look good since they didn't come with carpeted trunks, and keep the inside a little quieter from the exhaust. |

| Re: Rhino Line? Last time I was in a jail - Sometimes I have to work there - they had rhino lined the inside of the cells, tough stuff. I saw a customized International that had purple rhino liner in the doors and on the floor. It looked pretty good. |

| Re: Rhino Line? If you havent done this yet and are still serious about it... Use Line X.
Rhino has a tendancey to get gummy in the heat. Trust me plenty of my 4x4 friends take thier stuff to the desert. I have heard all kinds of horror stories about some poor guys liner kinda floating in the bed like cake batter.
Line X is a little harder and will not melt down. |

Line X is a little harder and will not melt down. | Agree i have a xb but also have a Ford Ranger with Rhino lining in the bed it discolors in the heat if u get color matched it will fade unless u get resealed by rhino lining its like a clear coat that protects the color of the lining.
It lasts a long time tho had the ranger bed done in 94 and its still looks good just faded in color. |

| Re: Rhino Line? old post but...
i suggest using LineX instead of Rhino liner. Rhino liner will get mooshy when it gets hot. like on a hot day, it will feel like soft rubber and will loose it's grip on things. LineX is a 2-part polymer paint *2-part polyethylene* and when you put it in... it STAYS on. it WONT scratch, it WONT peal and it'll do all the sound deadening and whatnot. |

| Re: Rhino Line? i have tried herculiner on a trunk and floorpan and it definitely quiets things down some. i've been thinking of doing the floor of my xb and just put the carpet back after about a week or so of letting it air out and dry. and its only like 80 bucks a gallon which is good for 2 coats. |

for just a sub box, i would think it would only be around 50-100 bucks. what most truck guys pay for thier bed is around 300-900 depending on the size. |
