i bought a 2006 xB and i was told there's a cruise control on it. it's 5 speed manual transmission. so how do i know and how to make it work?

the 1st gens were NEVER sent out with cruise...it had to be a dealer installed aftermarket equipment...or installed from some other joint...

as far as to where it might be placed in your car after someone bought the car and installed it, we would actually have to see pics of your interior to see if it can be identified...

If its the dealer one then its installed as another lever under the headlight lever. sorry thats the best wordage I could come up w/ at the moment.

cruise is located on a non-movable lever under the turn signal switch. kinda hidden, and hard to see. Took me a few trys to figure out how to make it work myself. You really can't read shit on the lever.

thanks guys for the help. i can't find any lever/button so i'm assuming i don't have it. how much do you guys think it'll cost for me to have a dealer installed cruise control? also i read that there's a recall on the cruise control, is it true?

last time i looked for cruise control it was like 200 and some change.

there is a recall but I believe it was only for gulf state dealers. Since your in Canada you should be fine if you order it from up there.

Last quote i got from dealer, parts and install almost 500!......buy it somewhere else, install it somewhere else..LOL...i think theres on in the classifieds here
