well alot of credit goes to rally the xb for his help on this project. i did this cause i basically had no choice after the car was broken into. i was lucky enough to pick up. 2 front seats from John (mr sparkle). i though about leaving the sliders on but it sat the seats up too high for my liking. so i took them off. this was a pain there are bumps on the bottom of the seat that keep the sliders on. those have to be drilled out and then the slider needs to be pounded off with a hammer



USE A NON WODDEN HAMMER!!!! lol RIP hammer


I then used all the existing mounting points in the car. the holes in the floor already have thread in them and conviently when you put brackets there they are about 16in apart. which is exactly as long as the rails at the bottom of the seat.



now for the back ones. i used the 3 mounting points the the original seats were bolted too. used 1.5in spacers to raise it up lever with the fronts. now they are 16in apart and ready for the seat to be set in them




now to keep the seat to the brakcets i used U-bolts. there were already holes in the seat that worked PERFECT for this.



now here's both seats in!





for mounting the fronts down i still need to do something no holes up there to mount to the bracket so imma figure it out later this week. they are darn solid as is so just some small brackets should be fine. if you have any questions let me know!

beautiful job on the install......but please when you get a chance change out the aluminium rail for steel that stuff would not stand up to a collision and the back passengers would be in yo face in a hurry
I love the concept though, all bet there more comfortable than the stock rears.

i dont plan on people really sitting there. maybe for shows and such where more people can come but there arent even any seat belts back there i sold all the stuff when i got the sub box to go there. these are just basically there to take up space.

i dont beleive that exists on scion seats, those bumps and a rivot have to come off, no button exists....got pics, then ill feel like a idiot!!
