| Re: Black Headliner, Pillars do you have to sand the pillars down before you paint them or do you just spray over them? how many coats of paint did you use? i want to do this sometime this week while i'm on spring break. |

| Re: Black Headliner, Pillars I betcha if you put "Food coloring" and water in a spray bottle and spray the headliner with it, it'll work. Plus the color will wash out, if you don't like it. |

That's the Carbon Fiber dash kit from the Scion dealer. I had it in my Box when I first bought it. I have since traded it to OMC. |

| Re: Black Headliner, Pillars Just a side note, if you want to remove the airbag warning lables from the front visors ACETONE and a rag, wet the rag down and rub them vigorisly, then let them sit for a while. The vinly will getsoft but after a while they will return to normal. I had to soak the hell out of the rag. For the yellow lable on the back seats, EXACTO knife.
A clear coat on the pillars would help but I wouldnt so a glossy coat, maybe a satin finish or flat. |

what all materials did you use for everything?
how come you didn't do where the seatbelts connect there?
any tips or pointers for someone else going to try it? |

| Re: Black Headliner, Pillars is there a reason why you painted and didn't rewrap? Just wondering cause of the smell factor which you said will go away but what if it's a really really hot day won't it come back? There was some guy that posted a thread about rewrapping in suede wasn't there? thinking about doing this. Nice Pictures and definitely looks better in black. |
