airbag steering wheel ideas

I'm going all bb styled and i really wanted to get a MOMO melinium steering wheel

yet my insurance will not cover my car if i did that.

So i really would like to buy a bB airbag and steering wheel.

If i can't find a real one I'm thinking of trying to get a celica airbag. and steering wheel.

any suggestions i just need the look and the insurance to think it fully works ha.

Re: airbag steering wheel ideas

I have a Corolla XRS steering wheel and airbag (or at least that's what they were on in the junkyard). The airbag works perfectly, which I didn't know until I actually tried installing it.

Airbag connectors work just fine; no adapters needed. I got the wheel and the airbag for something around $180 since I took it off myself. I have no knowledge in Corollas so I have no idea what year it was.

Re: airbag steering wheel ideas

New Celica's are the same wheel, Echo and Yaris also use the same wheel we currently have. So you can actually swap from a Echo Yaris to retain your factory steering wheel. The airbag cover just has the Toyota Sign in it, vs. The Scion logo.

Try finding forums that are related to cars you want the parts from. The best deals are usually there
