JDM bB OEM Foglights V.S. USDM xB OEM Foglights - Post Your Pics!

I wanted to start a thread that distinguishes the OEM American xB foglights that are distributed and sold by Scion and the JDM bB foglights that are sold on the bB's in Japan.

If you have pictures of either, post them here! Be sure to list whether or not they are USDM or JDM and if you have changed the lens housing, bulb type, etc...

I looked and looked and could not find anyone who has made this comparison. Hopefully this will sort out the myths and start a great picture thread! =)

Scion released pic of US-spec TCM. The fogs appear to be JDM-spec.

Interesting to see! The differences are subtle depending on the light, but you can see the difference.

The fogs in the Scion released picture do look lighter in comparison to the USDM fogs in the previous post.

I wonder why they made the change in the first place? Probably some D.O.T. code blah blah blah

Not sure about the lens, but the inside housing on the JDM is completely chromed, while the US sold ones dont have chrome on top and buttom of the housing. So the light output is much brighter out of the JDM's.
There is also an E-bay kind that has smoked lens.

mine are brighter then JDM...i have silverstar ultras in them.

That Kenstyle lip flows so unbelievably well with the Scudetto it isnt even funny. In my wildest dreams I didnt know it would work that well. Well done sir. I really want my front end to look that nice.

JDM Fog Lights:

I haven't had a photoshoot of my car yet so I have no shots of them installed. I'm running PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow HB lights on them. They're pretty yellow (2500K), but not as yellow as bulbs like NOKYA that have yellow glass. The PIAAs have this strange iridescent glass that shows a hint of yellow in some angles but is mostly clear. I wanted them because I didn't want the yellow to show in the JDM fog reflectors.
