Interior light fade...removal?

Is there any way to prevent the interior light from fading to off...I just want it to go directly off. The reason being is my LED's are hooked up to the dome light and they flicker when turning off (ie locking the doors, etc...)

Connect the LED's trough the transistor or a relay. Once the voltage from the dome light circuit drops below a certain level the LED's will just turn off.

You could make your own dome light circuit that doesn't use the original fade out wire. There's red/white door trigger wire on top of the fuse box that you could use with a relay to turn on with the doors open and turn right off when they close. No delay though.

So a relay then?...I don't know enuf about transistors to use them.

To design the transistor circuit you need to know how much is the current draw of all the LEDs you are running. Connecting any additional load to the dome light through a relay or transistor is safer anyway because if there is too much load, the Door Lock relay may fry and they are like $300.
