still a work in progress but that's the jift of what it'll look like when it's done :P
progress on the retrofit headlights is slow until the parts come in. they're on thier way now (Hella E55 bi-beam projectors and bazels with a new set of ballasts and bulbs from retro solutions). |

| Re: "THE HEADLIGHT" thread so i'm reviving this one.
i got pulled over last night because one of my headlights was out. so when i got home i put the ones i had from stock back in. they looked like crap.
So this morning i decided to get some new ones and have to say that i'm not impressed. i previously had some ebay euro dezigns 8500k headlights (never took a night shot) and they are just as good, and only $8, as the sylvania ones that i just purchased. here are the new ones installed. |

| Re: "THE HEADLIGHT" thread Hey guys I've been looking at some headlights. And I like the anzo's, but I really like the double halo's that I see on here. But I was told that even after sealing them up and all that they still fog up. I know I've seen some of yall have some custom headlights with the double halo feature. And I was curious where you got them at and what not. I found this one site and left them an email, but got no reply. I would like to get some wicked double halo headlights. And I'm wanting to have the halo features that have strobe light features.
Thanks guys.
Oh, and here's the link to the site I found. Custom Lighting Store - HID KIT |

| Re: "THE HEADLIGHT" thread I'll take a picture how they look at night and will post it tonight. Check back later.
Halos on this headlights unit are NOT bright. 3LED are 5MM leds, so not bright either, if you can find a way to customize Luxeon 3W or 5W led, please let me know how, I tried and failed.
Dual Projector is best feature I love about this headlight. But just like any aftermarket it fogs during rain or snow or after carwash and moisture builds up inside.
I had mine taken apart and sealed at local racing shop, so they NEVER moisture or fog on me anymore.
Uhm what else? uhm..... That seems about it! |

I just talked to this dude at a company I found on youtube. And he said that he could totally customize those headlights for me. I sent him pic's of the ones like yours and the eagle eye's from anzo. He said that the ones you have would be easier and that he could do more with them. Only thing is though that it costs $,$$$. |

| Re: "THE HEADLIGHT" thread I don't know, I am not really picky about HALOS, Sure I would like them to be brighter, but if these headlights came without halos, I would still purchase them. Why? Simply because they have LED, CLEAR, non-amber turn signal and best of all-DUAL PROJECTOR system! |

| Re: "THE HEADLIGHT" thread alright so i finally gave in and just won bidding for some of the projector headlights =)...since i have no idea on how to do headlights my best bet is to go to a body shop to get them done and everything unless one of you guys want to help me do them:P
but besides that, what are the best for the price bulbs that work good for the projects?
i like the ones that shine a little bit bluish but its not that big of a deal if they dont.
thanks! |
