| Fog Light Relay & Switch Does anyone know where i can get the fog light relay and the switch for an 06? The Stealership wants 95 bucks for the relay and 45 bucks for the switch, can't i find one aftermarket that is cheaper than that? Maybe radio shack? What do i look or ask for? |

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch You can get the universal switch from Randode, Oznum, Gardner Bender Inc Rocker On-Off, Rocker Switch, Model GSW-45 (usahardware.com)
Regular blue toyota micro relay. You can also unplug you headlight relay and reinstall it into the fog relay socket- you'll only loose panic headlights flash function.
You can find micro relays here: Tyco relays, Bosch, power relay,75 amp, high capacity,Automotive, truck, equipment,

How many amps does the relay have to run? |

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch There is a 2 prong plug for the switch somewhere near the ashtray. 20Amp rated relay is probably enough for most halogen bulbs. |

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch So all we need is the 20amp micro and were good to go? If that works, I will rewire my fogs using the factory wiring. |

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch Hey PCH, thanks for the all the good info. I am doing my install right now, you said you can use the horn micro relay switch. do you know which one it is or where I can get a diagram of all the fuses and relays. I don't see it on the car cover.

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch No, you can use the Headlight relay, just gotta replug it in a diff location. I'll try to look for the pic.
Here is the pic of the relays. They are all attached to the side of the fusebox. PIA to get to, but doable (this is the back view BTW). I don't remenber which one of 3 you are gonna be missing, but the other 2 that are installed on the car there are Horn and Headlight relays. Just try swapping them, it's safe. You don't want to loose the Horn relay, but Headlight one is hardly ever used (only with Panic Alarm).

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch So those relays are Rear Defog (top), Headlight (middle), and then Fog. Just move the middle relay one step down. |

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch Ok I have a few questions.... if I move the headlight relay to the spot for the foglight relay that will just eliminate the use of the headlights flashing on when using the panic button and only that right? headlights will still turn on like you normally will? Also just to make sure xbs already come pre wired for foglights? All you will need is the relay fuse and switch?
Also the switch I will need is a 2 prong one? will that connect straight to the pre existing wiring harness inside the cabin or do I have to cut and create new ends to connect to the aftermarket switch?

| Re: Fog Light Relay & Switch Yes on everything.
2 prong aftermarket switch will plug in if the configuration of the terminals is the same as in the plug. |
