190-195? You must be going for lean then. I am aiming for 285 now! Cant quite make up my mind but its going to be all natural with protien so once I hit my goal I only need to work out 2 times a week very lightly to maintain my size

I'm not looking to buff up, I got plenty of beef already and am at a pretty average size. I just need to get rid of the thing around my stomach, lol. If I could shave 15-20 lbs off my stomach area that would be enough for me. So cardio all the way for me and trying to give up sodas too.

Yea i had torn ligaments in my ankle over the summer and all i could do was sit on the couch with my foot elevated for 4 months and i only gained about 5 lbs. over that period of time.

Sounds great! I will do that, but currently I'm doing about 30-40 mins a day.

i started doing some crunches and get on the treadmil for about an hour
i need to lose about 60lbs

you can do it! Keep on going !!!!! Once you start seeing weight shed it motivates you even more to work out that much harder.

I just got sponsored but a supplement company to get off my fat ass and get back in to shape. I got 12 weeks and some of their supplements. needless to say I have been torturing myself.

Day 1 I threw on the plastics, and 3 shirts and went for a 2 mile fast paced run. I thought I was gonna die, but I didn't stop lol. I feel good though and I'm motivated so hopefully I will stay that way and take this and run with it!

i need to get back in shape myself. from a diet of beer and cigs... no bueno. im at 178lbs right now all beer gut. lol. my gf bought me a punching bag for xmas, that'll do and it releases stress. so win win

New year means new goals for me. I started jogging around Thanksgiving. Missed 2 weeks around Christmas but started again in January. I'm running in a 5K Saturday and another in February. Those have been keeping me a bit more motivated than having nothing. Good luck and good health to all.

Just got weighed and body fat checked and I am at 20.8% body fat coming from 28%

I used to be a bit overweight. Fixed that by eating just a salad and a banance a couple nights a week, with some self control. Man it sucked some times, but hey it works. I started going to the gym 3 times a week and just ran 1 mile as fast as I could, and did some weights too. I went from about 190 to 155 lbs.

I love running but finally had to give it up because for the moment I am more interesting in building muscle (interference effect). Ran >200miles between may and december according to my Nike +.

Trick to the gym is making it a habit. Once it's a habit, you feel guilty if you miss a day.

If you really want to take a supplement to lose weight look into alli. I'm a pharmacy student (3rd yr) so I know a bit about it. It has its caveats though..

Caveats like poo-poo-potty-pants! Definately don't take Alli and then go to the gym trying to "Max-Out". I've heard of people sneezing and making a mess!

Well thats actually how it works.. It keeps fat from being absorbed in the intestines.. If you eat more then 15 grams of fat in a meal you run into problems with "leaky" stools. It's as much a drug with pharmacological therapy as much as it is behavioral therapy.

Although I suppose straining is not advised
