Just wanted to post a formal introduction of myself..

so, I love my box, and it's boxyness. It's black cherry, mostly stock minus cold air intake (1 week old), and super bright don't look directly at em HIDs.

)If not for my savvy car buddy I wouldn't have any mods yet... I need to learn for myself!

Anyway, lookin forward to making this my new spot. Good night for now..

i wanted a white xb so i could call it the milktruck or some such...however my 98 camrey broke down and the only xb on my uncles lo at the time was a black cherry. i have def. grown to love it- but i want to get mat black finish by the end of next year. i got a quote recently for $1000. does that sound about right? he said it was the top quality paint/coating/sealant...etc. ive heard of paint jobs costing $3,000 for standard colors... hmm...thoughts?

with the paint job question. see his work. they can all say its top quality and its bs later on. 1000 bucks isnt too bad either.

HA! actually...i'm totally lactose intolerant...but i found a magic pill that makes that all go away.

anyway...I need to do more research on paint/paint shops. .fasho. esp if I get a flat black paint job, I'd want to know what to expect in terms of how well it hides dirt/scratches/etc. I live in a foggy a** area of the bay..the car gets cleaned one day, and the second day it has a filmy layer over the whole thing. I wish there was a way around it..guess i need to move!

srsly, i park in my garage and the friggin dryer gets the residual lint particles flying all over the space, and they eventually land on my baby! EHH!! so uncool... car cover may come with a new paint job. my xb was once a citycarshare rental....so, lots of little minor scratches, and one or two 1" dings. bleh.. daly city=daly shitty tho in terms of fog 24-7. for reals.

p.s. egg nogs sound friggin delish! havin a wig party tonight at my place and i kinda wish egg nog was in season so we could have some fun with the vodka. alas.....christmas party it will be.

p.p.s. white russians are my fav tho...cant give up the milk!! all hail the big labowski!

haha that pill you take heinz needs to also lol. i believe your account on balliztik is activated now. as for the lint you need to get one of those california car duster things i looooove mine. also with flat black i wounldnt be too worried about quality. haha you get a scratch then BAM! you bust out the spray paint can and you're good to go
