Today i was coming up to a stop sign and this van hit a car that was pulling onto the road, that i was letting turn in front of me, the van hit the car that was getting in front of me, the van turned over and flew straight at me . Hit me directly in the front, airbag deployed, knocked me back a good few feet and i tapped the car behind me. dont know if they are going to total mine but i got a feeling they might which sux badly.

yea it did you just cant see it the hood actually cracked the windshield in the corner....im hoping they dont total it and just put a new engine in it but i seriously doubt it...if they total it i want another xb i just have to find one

and i have GAP insurance from the dealer would that help me get another one???

no gap just pays off the current one in case you owe more than they give you for it. Its a good thing to have though....We can find you another one..lol

Sorry to hear about your ride. Glad that you made it through ok though. Hopefully you don't see any pain from the accident *besides the obvious pain you feel from your box being damaged*.

When my t-bird was totaled, the insurance took an estimate on the car and they wrote me a check. At first I was pretty upset at the price they were writing me. It was worth atleast 5k and they wrote me 3,200. I found an auto-classifieds mag with the same model/year/color/condition selling for $7,200 and they ended up paying me around $5,200. Just something to look out for.

Go to NADA.com and search your vehicle and fill in the info needed and that is pretty close to what they will give you. They will give you what the vehicle was worth before the accident. I owed around 4.5k and they gave me 13.6k so I payed off the 1gen and put 9k down on the 2gen.

And they pay you the tax on it too. I think my was worth 12.5k and they added tax to it and I got the 13.6k, make sense?

yea im ok just alot of bruises and muscle strains so i have to wear a brace to support my wrist right now...but im ok

went to get something out of the box yesterday and i couldnt stop crying when i was close to it....i know its just a car but this was my first brand new car and i was working on fixing it up

no one was injured a van lost control flipped and hit me airborne a lil with the roof of the van
