Justin's Build Thread.

Alright so my names Justin,i'm from Beaumont,Texas.I figured i'd start a build thread for my Xb.Not trying to copy you Tony(my thread could never be as big as yours dude.lol),I just figured this would help me make some more friends on here and kind of introduce myself.

Lets rewind to last June. This is what she looked like when I picked her up.
1 owner,40k miles,$9,400 with all the taxes and everything.
(Holy wheel gap Batman!)

2 weeks later.

d2 springs.Dirty car :/

Then I started on my system.

(Spare tire,whats that?)
She hit 139.9 in a Scion SPL contest at our local audio shop.
Got a cheapie intake that weekend too(Damn I hate being broke :/ )

Then I ordered bumper & wiper plugs from one of the guys on here and debadged the hatch.

I rolled like this for a while since i'm a broke college student but after about 2 months I got 5% tint all the way around,10k hid's,and made a jdm license plate bracket(thanks for the inspiration Thundergod),bB grill emblem, and a shocker sticker for the windshield.

Random pic of it after I detailed it.

And last weekend I finally got my sportmax's(15x8,+15 offset) but my tires didn't come in yet so I borrowed a set of 195/55/15's from my friend that has lots of tires in his garage(he drifts.lol).They look a little odd with that much side wall but my tires are going on on thursday. And it's rained alot here lately so my car is so dirtyyy.

Ordered my Echo struts yesterday.Should be on later this week with new tires. Will post new pics then.

Re: Justin's Build Thread.

Nice progression so far! I'd only cut the bump stops if you notice that your shocks are currently bottoming out. I have S-Techs and the directions said to remove a little more than 1/3rd of the bump stock for that spring.

Well I figured I should since i'll be running Echo struts.Don't they have shorter travel?Yeah I like the jdm visors.Maybe after the roofrack.

Thought i'd add some pics from like a week ago.

(JDM parking?lol The girlfriend wouldn't get out of the car so she was in the shot.)

Air shocks are next paycheck.Hey tony where did you run the air line for the easiest access? And what did you attach it to(with zipties I assume?) to keep it from hitting anythin?.

make sure when you do your air shocks. do it the "right way" and not the "ghetto way". have a tank+switch. makes life easier imo.
