Re: skateboarding

I love skateboarding. I do it every chance I get. I have to admit my time is limited now that I am getting older and work is consuming my time. I used to skate street when I could but driving to spots or parks takes even more time so I built a mini in the backyard this summer. I owned a skateboard/snowboard shop in college so I was able to be involved one way or the other day in and day out. Those were the days!
I am glad to see there are others out there still ripping it up.

Re: skateboarding

I did in High School, then tought my little brother, then he won his way into the Amatuer competition at Gravity Games two years in a row (all expenses paid) I went with him the first year.

I still get on a board do a little flat ground when ever I get my hands on a board. Going on 32 this month, my knee is finally getting better since I totalled the 1Gen.

I think my knee is as good as it's going to get. It gets tight if I bend it too much. It's been almost two years since it was slammed into my 1Gen's Dash at 60mph.

How do your ankles feel on a board? Alteast I could limp around with my knee messed up, ankles, not sure.

Re: skateboarding

I used to skate a lot but then i stopped because I kept spraining my ankle.
My setup was: enjoi deck, venture trucks, bones swiss bearings, darkstar wheels, and mob grip.
