aside from my car, i love working on my r/c's. a few months back, someone broke into my garage and stole thousands of dollars worth of r/c vehicles. all my off road racers, GONE i decided to start over with an old on road nitro. its an HPI RS4 3 evo. it came with a crap 350z body and some mesh wheels. i decided to give it a makeover.
here is the progress so far:

i painted a toyota soarer body gunmetal and left the headlights clear for the led strobe kit i ordered.




next came the wheels. couldnt go wrong with a set of work miester s1's

fronts


rears


still waiting for my adjustable tie rods to give it some camber

let me know what you think of it so far. i still have a few things to (as far as looks). if anyone else has r/c cars, id like to see em.

my brother gave me his messed up HPI RS4 Nitro. it was their first RS4 model, so i heard. a side from having an awesome engine sound, i have dumped many money on it just to repair the thing. im planning to get an electric R/C when i have the money again. anyway, heres a few pics of it. i havent run it for a while...

the R/C used to have the Skyline body, but my brother kept on crashing the R/C making the body turn into pieces. LOL! so i used the 190mm Altezza body from my Tamiya TL-01 (worst money i've spent). oh yeah, i have the same set of rims that you got too. -6 offset on the front and -9 offset on the rear...



then i used my brother's unused Mitsubishi Lancer 200mm body just for show. (with stock wheels)


on the other side, i was messing around with it.




yeah, its un-runable now, i believe...

lol...very nice. its belt driven right? my tie rods arrived today, so ill be able to camber the rear tonight. i hope my led kit gets here soon.

the led kit is only $20 on ebay.

oh...why wont it run? lmk if you need any parts. i get employee pricing from my buddy at hobby people. if its the engine, im getting a .18 real soon, so you can have my .15. it works fine, i just want to go a bit faster

well, it runs, just that it leaks oil from the aftermarket exhaust.

i put the stock exhaust back on but it doesnt have that power to it.

i like how your exhaust come out from the rear bumper. this is how mine look...

lol, thats just a decal on the back. my tip comes out the side. heres a pic with the functional "boso" pipe.
