| Re: Hand gun owners. Lowdrop, you'll love it. My cousin has one, and it shoots just fine and dandy. Only thing is, watch that hammer bite, maybe his hands are kinda big, but he gets 'bitten' every time he goes shooting. Something with a 'beaver tail' is nice...

| Re: Hand gun owners. I'm curious why anyone would use a laser sight for home defense?
I understand the obvious of point and shoot, not having to use the sights.
But if someone is in your house and they're armed and see a red dot sweeping the room, aren't they more likely to use the firearm?
I was always told to use a tac-light and they would most likely assume it's just a flashlight and not attatched to a pistol or shotgun. The light is usually bright enough that they can't see the gun too.
Not criticising, just curious if there is more benefits that I just don't know about.

| Re: Hand gun owners. Lot of nice set-ups here. I don't have handguns, I'm more into rifles and archery, but if I was able to ... I'd buy a .454 Casull just for fun and a Semmerling XLM (suppressed) for personal carry. We used to have a county nearby that would give out concealed carry permits, but they no longer do this. |

| Re: Hand gun owners. Once my stupid FOID card gets here, my 1st new gun purchase will be either a Glock 19 or 26. Although a gun friend of mine thinks I should get the Glock 21, which is a .45 caliber gun. I'd rather buy a small 9mm 1st and then move up.
Once I buy my 1st new gun, my 2nd purchase will be a Mossberg 500 shotgun! |

My next handgun will be the HK compact .45 I do like my Kinber but it can be ammo fussy and new springs every 1000 or so rounds...Gets old. |

| Re: Hand gun owners. 1911 will be finicky until broken in. Kimber states 500 rounds before its broken in! You need to stick w/the round nose ammo for easier feeds. I usually shoot winchester white box for plinking and Federal HST for carry. |

| Re: Hand gun owners. Don't believe everything that Kimber says in the Promo stuff. I really didn't think mine was really broke in until 2000 rounds. I know two other Kimber owners that felt that way too. I've got a local guy that reloads as a part time job. He keeps his $ reasonable but perfers to sell 1/2 case min. Never had a dud from him yet.
I keep Federal Hydro Shock in it for SD.
How do you like the PS90? I thought about one when they were coming out for the cxivilan market. As I get older I'm cuttiong down on Cal., I'm thinking about selling my .308 as I dion't have access to over 200yrds with out traveling and it's an honest 400 yrd tack driver, in the right hands I'm 1000 targets are possible. I built it way beyond my skill set. |
