cheers! | I'm from Niagara Falls and drive a thundercloud metalic silver XB. We should start some meets out this way when it's warmer. There are at least 3 around my area that I've seen. I could recruit!

Kittie | Hello Kittie!!!
i'd love to meet some Canadian xB owners as soon as it gets warmer. i also have a '06 TCM xB. it's pretty much stock and it'll prolly be kept that way aside from rims, lowering springs and an OEM rear wing. go on and recruit 'em box owners, hahaha.
cheers! |

| Re: Canadian xB owners.... Is it true that Canadian cars cannot have airbag lowering kits on them?
kinda new, what are DRL's that keep popping up in convo? is it true that you cannot import from US through a private seller?

| Re: Canadian xB owners.... When it comes to bringing an xB in Canada, its a matter of meeting the RIV specifications to make it legal. Has to pass certain crash test guidlines, has to have both english and french warnings (ghey) and has to have DRL's or Daytime Running Lights. As far as air ride suspension, i've never heard of that but there should be a lot of info if you google "importing vehicles into canada".
As far as private sellers, what type are you talking about? When it came to me, I bought mine from a Toyota dealership that did all the red tape clearing. Sure it cost me about $6000 or so more to get it that way, but it saved me a crap load of paperwork, a crap load of waiting, and stuff I just didn't want to deal with. |

| Re: Canadian xB owners.... Thanks Nick for clearing this up. There was a guy interested in mine, but he said he couldn't import it with the air suspension. Ghey, thats a funny "happy" word, lol. Thanks for clueing me in the DRL. Guess that should have been DUH. Maybe I should list my Xb on craig list bc? Glad there are still xb fans out there. good luck on your ride! |

| Re: Canadian xB owners.... Well, there are a ew toaster owners here in Edmonton. I would guess probably as many as 50. I know the "Thundercloud Metallic" crowd, (my car among them) are really popular. In downtown Edmonton, there are at least 5 others besides myself, as well as two black ones and an orange one. (That's during the working day.) There are at least a dozen different xBs on the North Side of the city alone, of all different colours.
I bought mine from a used shop in Calagary, who imported from a dealer in Montana. So, "hey there" to all Canadian xB owners. You are not alone! |

| Re: Canadian xB owners.... Personally if I knew there was an xBer meet somewhere near me, as long as it was on a weekend, I would go drive out there no problem. In Calgary most of the xB drivers are just drivers and not enthusiasts so if someone could orchestrate a meet in Edmonton I would try my best to get there. |

| Re: Canadian xB owners.... I'm coming to Edmonton for Saturday, Sunday, and possibly Monday! I'll most likely end up in Edmonton by 7pm or so and odds are I will be staying until Monday morning.
If anyone wants to figure out a meet & greet, give me a shout. 1-403-813-3614 |
