Ok, so the Two TN nuts (gothbox, and big hungry// AKA Driveway Customs. lol) have been talking about coming up north to Ky to hang out with some of us crazy nor tuckians. (crxgames, enuf2spare, jx, myself, ect)

And I proposed crashing the Smokey Mountains in Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge TN. Mainly because there is a ton of stuff to do there, not to far of a drive from most of the bordering states. We can all park the cars at a hotel, and be in walking distance of shopping, go karting, tons of food, and entertainment. Then head up into the Smokies for a high elevation photo shoot. Make a weekend out of it.

Calling all Scion xBs. Gen 1 and Gen 2. I say lets keep it xB just because they are unique

Do it Early Spring of 2009. Maybe in March. (off season, so prices for hotels should be lower).

It's a good way to put some faces to s/n's. Sure its not as cool as United or Exposed. But it should be fun as hell. Everyone getting together and having a little vacation out of it. Maybe make it a yearly thing, or a begging of spring, end of summer event?

Its a bit more of a drive for Cody and I, but I really need a real vacation. Over the last few years, my vacations have consisted of one day road trips to car shows like Scion Exposed at Mid-Ohio and such. So taking a weekend to actually relax, instead of knowing I have to drive home that night, sounds great to me. lol.

I know what you mean for vacations. My last vacation was Heritage, so im ready for about 3 or 4 next year .

I first read this last week as I was sitting in my Hotel room in of all places Gatlinburg. Sounds good to me I'd just need a date to clear up my schedule. And of course to have the box back from the shop. ARP is doing a little R-n-D for me.

God I am glad to see there is starting to be interest in this.

Here's what I'd love to see.

AT LEAST! 20 boxes crashing the smokies.
A hotel, or hotels packed in with xB's of all styles
Sparks going down the main drag of Gatlinburg (goth, jay, cody, ben (<~~man up ben and drag that shit ).
Convoy's of boxes rolling in for night one.
People standing on the streets staring in awe of a crap ton of boxes cruising the strip.
The people at Ripley's Believe it or Not asking for a group photo
Boobs (not goths') and me getting laid.

Of course, these are all things i'd like to see.... Some of which, are out of reach.... Like me getting laid. lol

haha your not the only one in seek of getting laid the weekend we do this lol. Seriously cant wait to meet some of you guys. I havent been to Piegon Forge/Gatlinburg since the Nopi days before I was even able to drive. So it'll be good to get back down that way, but im SUPER stoked about this meet.

I just did a quick search on hotel rates and
for the last weekend in march if we can get atleast 8 rooms we can get rooms at the Ramada in Pigeon Forge for $79 a night

Thats cool, but I don't plan on paying a whole lot on the hotel. I only plan to be in it for sleeping, and showering. lol. I just don't see the need for it. Of course, in the months to come, that opinion may change. BUT as of now. Im rollin dirty. And if you room up with someone, you can cut the price down on the room

At the GMSmallCarBash we had like 6 people in one hotel room... We even stayed in a decent hotel.... And it was only like a little less than $50 a person. lol. Of course, we all just sat outside most of the night. Only reason we had a room was for beer storage. (which I don't even drink. lol)

That or its going to come down to, I am going to book a room, and post the dates... And those who can make it, can book right after I do. And hopefully it'll all just come together.

Oh and the best part, according to Yahoo Maps, it's only a 4.5 hour drive from Cincinnati. God that makes me happy. I thought it was more like a 6 hour drive.... Been a long time since I've gone down that way.
