Naw I can't make it if we don't move the week because I'm taking the wife to the U.S. Virgin Islands for our 10th anniversary next year in April. Sorry I just don't like purposely missing work, I get paid to do a job and too many people are counting on me to be here when I'm suppose to be. Unless I'm banned of the site by then I'm sure they'll be plenty of pics just not as much swag LOL but then Eric is pretty good at that one also.

And David, I dunno about everyone else, but I'm down for a car show. The more the merrier I always say. This will be my 1st time going so I ain't calling any shots, thats just my opinion. But I dunno about other Scions though. Nothing against them. But it is "boxed" in the smokies. Why don't you just have all xB members show up at the event.

Frog, welcome to the site...

But first off, let me say, as the "fearless leader" of this event, I am going to have to say no to the show option. No competitions was one of the founding principals to this event. Those who went last year would probably agree. Its not about winning anything, its about just getting together and having a good time.

However, your chapters xB's are more than welcome to come join us at the hotel. As long as you don't bring any 15 year old skanks, show up to just drink our alchy, or start any shit. I think you'll find the no award venue to be a lot more fun. Because you don't have to worry about spending 3 or 4 hours cleaning your car. You don't have to worry about parking next to someone with a car with a lot more work done, or a entirely different style and competing against them. Its just in good fun. Cruising, making people stop in their tracks to stare (even those ordering lunches on balconies hehe), making douche bags in mustangs try to feel superior when they are clearly outnumbered (haha), getting to meet new people and hang out with them. Tossing ideas back and forth and being glad you got to meet the ones you talk to on here, and see their cars in person.

Its just a family friendly event (minus the party room. NO KIDS ALLOWED!)

i 2nd that. as much as i love car shows and everything Scikotics i LOVE that we werent competing. and as you mentioned i had no problem parking my stock next to the giant chalkboard lol. and we were all treated the same and everyone was friendly and very informative instead of not wanting secrets to slip.

Yeah, I'm one for the anticompetition style of meet. It encouraged so much fellowship and idea sharing last year. That's why we all had so much fun and most of us keep in some form of contact from time to time.
