My name is Daniel and I'm new here to Cedar Rapids and looking to purchase a First Gen Scion in the next few months. Any advise?

Welcome Daniel. I don't know of any fir sale here in cr. You can always look up Cisco at cr toyota or Alex at Wilsons in Ames. He's Grizzly_choppers on here. Be sure to check out a Scinergyia meet sometime | |

Hey thanks for the message. How often do you guys meet and where?
Also, I'm hoping to do a little customization and I'm currently looking for an original rear hatch. I thought someone might have replaced theres with a Carbon Fiber hatch. | |

Hey Daniel! Welcome to Iowa. Although it may not look that way we have a very strong Scion scene out here with quite a few guys and gals that have been in it from the beginning.
The first gen xBs are a little tough to come by sometimes out here, but I do have a 2006.5 in Polar White here right now. It is the first one I have seen in about 5 or 6 months and certainly the nicest. You can email me if you have an interest: alexm@wilsonofames.com.

As far as a rear hatch, not much luck around here, I don't know of anyone that has done the Carbon fiber hatch locally, you could maybe try some of the local Junk yards, maybe find one thats been wrecked where the hatch is ok. | |

Yea, I talked to one junk yard and they wanted $700+. Wow! I'm not sure that price is right. lol.
